• Significant Rise in UTS on Mobile Usage Highlights Passenger Acceptance & Digital Advancement. 

Khurda Road, Jatni; Dated 23.07.2025:Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway has achieved a remarkable milestone in the adoption of paperless ticketing, setting a new benchmark for digital transformation in Indian Railways. Leveraging the UTS on Mobile platform, passengers can now book Journey Tickets, Season Tickets and Platform Tickets directly from their Smart Phones, eliminating the need for physical ticket printouts.Record-Breaking Growth in Smart TicketingWith an emphasis on passenger convenience, the Division has witnessed an impressive surge in the use of the UTS (Unreserved Ticketing System) Mobile Application. This initiative not only simplifies the ticketing process but also aligns with Indian Railways’ broader goal of encouraging digital and contactless services.During the fiscal year 2024–25, Khurda Road Division issued 5,35,701 tickets through the UTS on Mobile app, serving over 22,41,690 passengers and generating revenue of ₹4,76,67,710.In the first quarter of the current fiscal year 2025–26 (April to June), the Division reported substantial year-on-year growth:

• Tickets issued rose from 90,005in 2024-25 to 1, 83, 251 in 2025-26 fiscal, registering a growth of 103.6%. 

• During the period, Passenger count increased from 4, 42, 413to 6, 70, 302, marking a 51.5% growth. 

• Similarly, Revenue climbed from ₹85, 17, 025to ₹1, 55 ,44, 820; reflecting an extraordinary rise of over 82.5%. 

This exponential growth is attributed to wider public acceptance, user-friendly technology and enhanced payment options such as UPI-based QR code transactions, leading to shorter queues and faster processing. 

Accessible, Efficient & Eco-Friendly Travel 

The UTS on Mobile app is available in Hindi, English and regional languages, ensuring ease of use even for first-time users. Tickets are delivered directly to the app and can be shown to ticket-checking staff using the “Show Ticket” option—no hard copy needed. 

Passengers can now: 

• Book Unreserved Journey Tickets up to three days in advance for journeys above 200 km.
• Purchase half-yearly and yearly season tickets.
• Book platform tickets with ease. 

The app supports multiple digital payment methods and is compatible with Android, iOS and Windows Smart Phones. 

To book a Paperless Ticket: 

• The Smartphone must be GPS-enabled.
• The journey must start within one hour of booking.
• Paperless tickets cannot be cancelled, while printed tickets may be cancelled before printing or at counters afterward. 

Enhanced Digital Infrastructure 

To support increasing demand, the Division has expanded its UTS network, ensuring more areas have access to mobile ticketing. Printed ticket kiosks like ATVMs machines are available at major stations for passengers who prefer or require physical tickets. 

The mobile application is free to download from respective App Stores and provides services such as: 

• Booking and cancellation of suburban tickets
• Issuance and renewal of season tickets
• Platform ticket booking
• R-Wallet balance management
• User profile and booking history access

The overwhelming adoption of UTS on Mobile across Khurda Road Division demonstrates growing public trust in digital ticketing systems and reaffirms Indian Railways' vision of a smart, sustainable and inclusive transportation system.

• ମୋବାଇଲ୍ ବ୍ୟବହାରରେ ଅଣସଂରକ୍ଷିତ ଟିକେଟ ପ୍ରଣାଳୀ (ୟୁଟିଏସ / UTS) ରେ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ଯାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ଗ୍ରହଣ ଏବଂ ଡିଜିଟାଲ୍ ବ୍ୟବହାରରେ ଉନ୍ନତିକୁ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖ କରୁଅଛି ।

ପୂର୍ବତଟ ରେଳପଥ ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା ରୋଡ୍ ରେଳମଣ୍ଡଳ କାଗଜବିହୀନ ଟିକେଟ ପ୍ରଣାଳୀ ଗ୍ରହଣରେ ଏକ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ ମାଇଲଖୁଣ୍ଟ ହାସଲ କରିଛି ଯାହା ଭାରତୀୟ ରେଳବାଇରେ ଡିଜିଟାଲ୍ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ନୂତନ ମାନଦଣ୍ଡ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଛି । ମୋବାଇଲ୍ ପ୍ଲାଟଫର୍ମରେ ୟୁଟିଏସ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି, ଯାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଏବେ ସିଧାସଳଖ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ମାର୍ଟ ଫୋନ୍ ରୁ ଯାତ୍ରା ଟିକେଟ୍, ସିଜନ୍ ଟିକେଟ୍ ଏବଂ ପ୍ଲାଟଫର୍ମ ଟିକେଟ୍ ବୁକ୍ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ଯାହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଛପା କାଗଜ ଟିକେଟର ଆବଶ୍ୟକତାକୁ ଦୂର କରାଯାଇ ପାରୁଅଛି ।

ସ୍ମାର୍ଟ ଟିକେଟିଂରେ ରେକର୍ଡ ଅଭିବୃଦ୍ଧି
ଯାତ୍ରୀ ସୁବିଧା ଉପରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱ ଦେଇ, ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା ରୋଡ଼ ରେଳମଣ୍ଡଳ ୟୁଟିଏସ-UTS (ଅଣସଂରକ୍ଷିତ ଟିକେଟିଂ ସିଷ୍ଟମ୍) ମୋବାଇଲ୍ ଆପ୍ଲିକେସନ୍ ବ୍ୟବହାରରେ ଏକ ପ୍ରଭାବଶାଳୀ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ଆଣିପାରିଛି । ଏହି ପଦକ୍ଷେପ କେବଳ ଟିକେଟିଂ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟାକୁ ସରଳ କରୁ ନାହିଁ ବରଂ ଡିଜିଟାଲ୍ ଏବଂ ସମ୍ପର୍କହୀନ ସେବାକୁ ପ୍ରୋତ୍ସାହିତ କରିବାର ଭାରତୀୟ ରେଳବାଇର ବ୍ୟାପକ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ସାଧନ କରିପାରୁଛି ।
2024-25 ଆର୍ଥିକ ବର୍ଷରେ, ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା ରୋଡ୍ ରେଳମଣ୍ଡଳ ମୋବାଇଲ୍ ଆପ୍ ଉପରେ ୟୁଟିଏସ-UTS ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ 5,35,701 ଟିକିଟ୍ ଜାରି କରିଥିଲା, ଯାହା 22,41,690 ରୁ ଅଧିକ ଯାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ସେବା ଯୋଗାଇଥିଲା ଏବଂ ଏହି ବାବଦରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ₹4,76,67,710 ଟଙ୍କା ରାଜସ୍ୱ ଆୟ କରିଥିଲା ।
ଚଳିତ 2025-26 ଆର୍ଥିକ ବର୍ଷ (ଏପ୍ରିଲରୁ ଜୁନ୍) ର ପ୍ରଥମ ତ୍ରୈମାସିକରେ, ରେଳମଣ୍ଡଳ କାହାଜ ବିହୀନ ଅଣ ସଂରକ୍ଷିତ ଟିକେଟ ବାବଦରେ କ୍ରମାଗତ ବୃଦ୍ଧିର ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ ଉନ୍ନତି ଆଣିପାରିଛି :
• 2024-25ରେ ଜାରି ହୋଇଥିବା ଟିକେଟ 90,005 ରୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇ 2025-26 ଆର୍ଥିକ ବର୍ଷରେ 1, 83, 251 ରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଛି ଯାହା 103.6% ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଉଥିବା ଜଣାପଡିଛି ।
• ଏହି ସମୟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ, ଯାତ୍ରୀ ସଂଖ୍ୟା 4, 42, 413 ରୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇ 6, 70, 302 ରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଛି, ଯାହା 51.5% ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଛି ।
• ସେହିପରି, ରାଜସ୍ୱ ବାବଦରେ ଗତ ଆର୍ଥିକ ବର୍ଷର ପ୍ରଥମ ତିନି ମାସର ଆୟ ₹85, 17, 025 ରୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଁ ₹1, 55, 44, 820 ରେ ପହଂଚିଛି ଯାହାକି ଏହି ବାବଦରେ 82.5% ରୁ ଅଧିକ ବୃଦ୍ଧିକୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳିତ କରୁଛି ।
ଏହି ଅପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଶିତ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ବ୍ୟାପକ ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ଗ୍ରହଣୀୟତା, ବ୍ୟବହାରକାରୀ-ଅନୁକୂଳ ପ୍ରଯୁକ୍ତିବିଦ୍ୟା ଏବଂ ୟୁପିଆଇ/ UPI-ଆଧାରିତ QR କୋଡ୍ କାରବାର ଭଳି ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିତ ପେମେଣ୍ଟ ବିକଳ୍ପଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଦ୍ୱାରା କରାଯାଇଛି ଯାହା ଫଳରେ ଷ୍ଟେସନ ମାନଙ୍କରେ ଥିବା ବୁକିଂ କାଉଣ୍ଟର ଗୁଡିକରେ ଧାଡ଼ି ଛୋଟ ଏବଂ ଦ୍ରୁତ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟାକରଣ ହେଉଛି ।
ସୁଗମ, ଦକ୍ଷ ଏବଂ ପରିବେଶ-ଅନୁକୂଳ ଯାତ୍ରା
ମୋବାଇଲ୍ ଆପ୍ ଉପରେ ୟୁଟିଏସ/UTS ହିନ୍ଦୀ, ଇଂରାଜୀ ଏବଂ ଆଞ୍ଚଳିକ ଭାଷାରେ ଉପଲବ୍ଧ ଯାହା ପ୍ରଥମ ଥର ବ୍ୟବହାରକାରୀଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟବହାରର ସହଜତା ସୁନିଶ୍ଚିତ କରୁଅଛି । ଟିକେଟଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସିଧାସଳଖ ଆପ୍‌କୁ ବିତରଣ କରାଯାଏ ଏବଂ "ଟିକେଟ ଦେଖାନ୍ତୁ" ବିକଳ୍ପ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ଟିକେଟ୍-ଯାଞ୍ଚକାରୀ କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖାଯାଇପାରିବ ଏବଂ ଏଠି ପାଇଁ କୌଣସି ହାର୍ଡ କପି ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ନାହିଁ ।
ଯାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଏବେ ସହଜରେ ଟିକେଟ ବୁକିଂ କରିପାରିବେ:
• 200 କିଲୋମିଟରରୁ ଅଧିକ ଯାତ୍ରା ପାଇଁ ତିନି ଦିନ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଅଣସଂରକ୍ଷିତ ଯାତ୍ରା ଟିକେଟ୍ ବୁକ୍ କରିପାରିବେ ।
• ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧ-ବାର୍ଷିକ ଏବଂ ବାର୍ଷିକ ସିଜନ୍ ଟିକେଟ୍ କ୍ରୟ ମଧ୍ୟ କରାଯାଇ ହେବ ।
• ସହଜରେ ପ୍ଲାଟଫର୍ମ ଟିକେଟ୍ ବୁକ୍ କରାଯାଇପାରିବ ।
ଆପ୍ ଏକାଧିକ ଡିଜିଟାଲ୍ ପେମେଣ୍ଟ ପଦ୍ଧତିକୁ ଯଥା Android, iOS ଏବଂ Windows ସ୍ମାର୍ଟ ଫୋନ୍ ସହିତ ସୁସଙ୍ଗତ। ସମର୍ଥନ କରୁଅଛି ।

• ସ୍ମାର୍ଟଫୋନ୍ GPS-ସକ୍ଷମ ହେବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ।• ବୁକିଂର ଗୋଟିଏ ଘଣ୍ଟା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯାତ୍ରା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ।• ପେପରଲେସ୍ ଟିକେଟ୍ ବାତିଲ୍ କରାଯାଇପାରିବ ନାହିଁ, ଯେତେବେଳେ ପ୍ରିଣ୍ଟେଡ୍ ଟିକେଟ୍ ପ୍ରିଣ୍ଟେଡ୍ ପୂର୍ବରୁ କିମ୍ବା ପରେ କାଉଣ୍ଟରରେ ବାତିଲ୍ କରାଯାଇପାରିବ ।
ଉନ୍ନତ ଡିଜିଟାଲ୍ ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମି
ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିତ ଚାହିଦାକୁ ପ୍ରୋତ୍ସାହିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା ରୋଡ଼ ରେଳ ମଣ୍ଡଳ ଏହାର ୟୁଟିଏସ/UTS ନେଟୱାର୍କକୁ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିଛି, ଯାହା ସୁନିଶ୍ଚିତ କରୁଛି ଯେ ଅଧିକ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ମାନଙ୍କରେ ମୋବାଇଲ୍ ଟିକେଟିଂର ସୁବିଧା ଉପଲବ୍ଧ କରାଯାଇ ପାରିବ ।  ATVM ମେସିନ୍ ପରି ମୁଦ୍ରିତ ଟିକେଟ୍ କିଓସ୍କ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଷ୍ଟେସନ୍‌ରେ ଯାତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଉପଲବ୍ଧ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଭୌତିକ ଟିକେଟ୍ ପସନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି କିମ୍ବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ କରନ୍ତି ।
ମୋବାଇଲ୍ ଆପ୍ଲିକେସନ୍ ସମ୍ପୃକ୍ତ ଆପ୍ ଷ୍ଟୋର୍‌ରୁ ଡାଉନଲୋଡ୍ କରିବାକୁ ମାଗଣା ସେବା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରେ ଯେପରିକି:
